I like to watch, watch you from a distance
You like to see, my eyes on you
I like to drop, my inhibitions
You like it when, I act a fool
You like to touch, touch me in the night time
Ooh I really like, that time of day
You like to see, see me in a night gown
Would you like to take it off, it’s time to play
And if you like we can go for a long ride
And see where it takes us baby
Cuz I wanna make sure we do things right
Nothing wrong when we do it Slowly & surely
Can we stay like this a while
I hope you’re the treasure I've been waiting to find
And so far, I like, what I see and maybe
This could be what my heart's been waiting to feel
You like me in, like me in my sweat pants
I like to be chill, on the rainy days
You like when I, whip up my creole cooking
It's one of my favorite things to do
I think you like my curves, my ass and my lips
This sounds too good, too good to be true
Don't want to get my hopes up too much no
Don't wanna push my luck
I can't ignore my reason
I gotta say, it's real good while it's lastin'
And I wouldn't mind it if it kept going and going and go-ooooing...
Like it, like it, like it
Like it, like it, like it
Like it, like it, like it just like that, ain't no doubt
We got a great thing going
Like it, like it, like it just like that, and we don't stop
We got a great thing going
Like it, like it, like it just like that, ain't no doubt
We got a great thing going
Like it, like it, like it just like that, and we don't stop
We got a great thing going
Yeah, just like that, we got a great thing going
Hey, we got a great thing going
(And if you like we can go for a long ride) and see where it takes us baby
(And if you like we can go for a long ride) and see where it takes us baby
(And if you like we can go for a long ride) let’s see where it takes us baby
(And if you like we can go for a long ride) Oh ohhh
let’s see where it takes us baby
let’s see where it takes us baby
Tina Leon is a singer and songwriter from Montreal who draws her inspiration from the Motown Generation and the soul music
of the last decades. Having already sung and collaborated with Stevie Wonder, DJ Champion and Garou under the artist name of Marie-Christine Depestre, she now appears in a new light, more authentic and full of life than ever....more
Modern (as opposed to retro) soul with a jazzy touch. Great voice, good songs, fantastic arrangements - very idiosyncratic approach!
The chosen favorite works best when played directly after the preceding one, Where there Is Smoke ;-) Carsten Pieper
Like so many others, this came like a bolt out of the blue and, even though it's well before payday, I had to have this astonishing album on vinyl to prove it exists. The feel of the tunes makes me feel like the Impressions do, Curtis Mayfield, the big spaces and instinctive horns and stuff drifting in and out. Great grooves and I can see lots of ghosts nodding along to this with big smiles on their faces. At last! Anthony Cottrell
